As a compassionate and collaborative therapist, I believe that healing happens through connection, and I am here to witness your process with authenticity and humility. I approach therapy from a person-centered lens, recognizing that each individual who walks into my office is the true expert on their own life. One of the bravest things a person can do is ask for help, and I am honored to be a part of your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices such as Attachment Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, somatic practices, and creative interventions. I work with clients to address both the emotional and physical aspects of their well-being, helping you develop greater awareness, self-compassion, and resilience.
I value the opportunity to understand your life from your unique perspective while considering the larger systems you are connected to. Together, we will explore the areas of your life that need attention and establish goals that will guide our work together. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, or life transitions, I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can heal and grow at your own pace.
I earned my Master of Arts in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark College, where I also completed my practicum in an outpatient setting at their community counseling center. Personal Interests
Outside of my counseling practice, I cherish spending time with my husband, daughter, and our two cats. Family is at the heart of my life, and we make a point to enjoy weekly traditions like our Friday film nights—where we unwind and enjoy movies together. I’m also lucky to live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and I love exploring the stunning landscapes of Oregon and Washington. Whether it's hiking, visiting the coast, or simply enjoying a scenic drive, being in nature helps me stay grounded and inspired.
Travel is another passion of mine. I enjoy discovering new places and learning about different cultures, which has broadened my understanding of people and their unique experiences.
When I’m not at home or traveling, you’ll likely find me spending time with extended family, who are an important part of my life and bring me great joy.
Lastly, my daughter recently declared me a "master at stuffy suturing"—a fun skill I’ve honed over time while helping her with her stuffed animal creations. It's one of those small, joyful things that reminds me how much I enjoy creativity and problem-solving in all forms.
