At the heart of my practice is a love of helping people overcome challenges in their lives. My professional interests include: generational trauma, family estrangement, blended families, couples therapy, body image, fertility, grief and loss, relationships, identity development, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions such as adjustment to relationship changes, family challenges, and grief. I am sex-positive and prioritize creating a safe space for all identities.

I emphasize a holistic approach and utilize a wide array of theories including Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), structure mapping, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed therapies. I believe counseling is a collaborative process and I work to personalize each treatment plan to fit each individual's unique needs. I also seek to provide a safe and supportive environment that empowers individuals, families and couples to reach their goals. I believe that you are an expert in your own life and seek to create a collaborative space.

I earned my Master of Arts in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark College, where I also completed my practicum at the Lewis and Clark Clinic and my internship at Wild Wish Counseling. Previously, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Communications from the University of Alaska Anchorage.

  • Rosemarie Treviño

    She/Her

    LPC

I became a counselor because I wanted to understand the complexity of mental health, not just from textbooks, but through lived experience. My dad is a combat veteran, and growing up, I witnessed the silent weight he carried. His journey with PTSD shaped my own: it sparked a deep desire to learn, to understand, and ultimately to help others navigate their own healing. What began as a search for answers became a calling to hold space for those who feel unseen, unheard, or overwhelmed by what they're carrying.

The space I offer is built on trust, compassion, and radical acceptance, echoing the cultural roots I carry as a Latina from a Mexican lineage, where healing is a collective, resilient, and deeply human experience. Whether you're navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, or relationship challenges, I'm here to walk beside you, not to fix you, but to help you find your way back to your most authentic self.

I work from a person-centered and emotion-focused lens, because your story matters. Your emotions matter. And healing isn't linear-it's messy, beautiful, and deeply personal, and you don't have to go through it alone.

I've had the privilege of working with children, teens, couples, and adults in community mental health and nonprofit settings. I'm trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, certified as an Embodied and Relationship Coach through The Embody Lab, and I hold a master's in Professional Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Addictions.

Outside the therapy room, I'm an Oregon-born, SoCal-raised soul who finds peace in camping, music, and the great outdoors. I come from a military family, and those roots run deep in how I show up, with resilience, respect, and heart.

  • Carmina Arroyo

    She/Her

    Registered Associate

As a Mexican-American, queer daughter of immigrants and a military child, I’ve learned firsthand what it means to navigate multiple cultural, familial, and social worlds. Growing up in a community where mental health wasn’t openly discussed shaped my desire to create spaces where people can be honest, vulnerable, and truly heard. I’m especially passionate about offering safety and comfort around your unique experiences, lifestyles, and intersectional identities, making room for every part of your story.

I practice from a humanistic, relational, and non-pathologizing lens, meeting you with authenticity, curiosity, and deep respect. I see you as the expert of your own life, and I aim to build a space that feels safe, affirming, and grounded in genuine connection. Because healing isn’t linear, we’ll move at your pace, honoring moments of tenderness and self-compassion as they arise.

My approach is strengths-based and informed by emotion- and trauma-focused perspectives. I draw from DBT skills, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and Art Therapy, integrating them through humanistic and intersectional frameworks. I’m interested in working alongside folks through life transitions, relationship challenges (both intra- and interpersonal), trauma, identity exploration, and the process of deconstructing beliefs or patterns that no longer serve you.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Wellness from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) in May 2021. Most recently, in May 2025, I completed my graduate-level training for my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UTSA. During my graduate training, I completed clinical internships at Sarabia Family Counseling Center, the Boys & Girls Club, and Our Lady of the Lake University. These experiences allowed me to work in community-based counseling settings and support adults and children from diverse cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds. I also provided counseling to clients navigating varying degrees of trauma, exploring their LGBTQ+ identities, and managing relational and other significant life transitions.

Therapy can bring vulnerability to the surface, but it can also open space for empowerment, autonomy, and deeper self-connection. I hope together we can build a relationship that supports you in finding meaning, honoring your voice, and embracing yourself with compassion.

Separate from the counseling world, I’m a SoCal girl who loves adventure and embracing cultural experiences. I’ve had the privilege of being able to see different parts of the world at a young age and bring that sense of gratitude, curiosity, and compassion into every aspect of my life.

    Personal Interests:

Born in SoCal to a military family, there isn’t one specific place I call home since all of the different places felt as such. I’ve been grateful to have lived in California, Texas, Missouri, and Okinawa, Japan. These moving experiences sparked a massive interest in adventure in every sense of the word. If I’m not in my counseling room, I’m taking a beautiful hike in a national park, pitching a tent in the great outdoors, embarking on an overambitious road trip, or nesting indoors with my adorable fur babies. Whether it be indoors or outdoors, I’ll always find moments of peace and gratitude, especially when I’m being creative and spending time with my friends or partner.
